Catholic Charities Receives $20,000 Grant from Bank of America
to Help ‘Most Vulnerable’ in Diocese of Wilmington

May 7, 2024 – Wilmington, DE – Catholic Charities, Inc. of the Diocese of Wilmington, a local non-profit organization dedicated to addressing human suffering and providing services to those in need, has received a $20,000 grant from Bank of America (BofA).

The grant will help with homeless prevention, rapid rehousing, food assistance, financial coaching, and outpatient counseling, while improving economic mobility throughout Delaware. The grant is part of Bank of America’s philanthropic giving efforts in local communities. Awardees were selected for their commitment to address basic needs and workforce development for individuals and families.

“Catholic Charities offers comprehensive resources that address the basic needs of our most vulnerable community members to ensure their well-being,” said Chip Rossi, Bank of America Delaware President. “By partnering with Catholic Charities, we support their work toward helping Delawareans access meaningful housing, food assistance, and behavioral health services that will help them to achieve success and long-term stability.”
